SASAL, INC. · PLATFORM TERMS
Terms of Service
Effective September 29, 2026 · Version 2026-09-291. Agreement and scope
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the SASAL platform, including organization workspaces, matching, AI features, API services, memberships, certifications, and paid add-ons (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, joining an organization, accepting these Terms online, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent. You confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
A service-specific order form, pricing page, click-through terms, data-processing addendum, or agreement signed through Adobe Acrobat Sign may add to these Terms. If there is a conflict, the signed agreement controls for that service.
2. Accounts and organization administration
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly notify SASAL of suspected unauthorized access. The Organization Owner controls members and may designate one or more Billing Owners for payment, contract, and subscription actions. The organization is responsible for its members’ use of the Services and for keeping its administrator and billing-contact information current.
3. Permitted use
Use the Services only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Do not interfere with the platform, bypass access controls or usage limits, probe or copy the Services except as permitted by law, introduce harmful code, infringe another person’s rights, use the Services to build a competing service, or submit unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, abusive, or confidential third-party material without authorization.
4. Service-specific rules
- Matching. Matching information is provided to support business introductions. A match, score, recommendation, or profile display is not a guarantee of suitability, funding, a transaction, or any result. Users remain responsible for independent diligence and communications.
- AI. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Review outputs before relying on them; do not use AI outputs as the sole basis for legal, financial, employment, medical, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions.
- API. API credentials are confidential, limited to your authorized use, and may not be shared, resold, or used to circumvent rate, seat, or usage limits. You are responsible for requests made with your credentials.
- Workspaces, projects, relationship records, and certifications. You retain responsibility for the information you add, for required approvals, and for any professional or regulatory obligations tied to your use.
5. Customer content and data
You retain ownership of content and data you submit to the Services (“Customer Content”). You grant SASAL a non-exclusive, worldwide, limited right to host, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Content only to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services, and as otherwise instructed by you. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for this use. SASAL may use aggregated or de-identified information to operate and improve the Services, provided it does not identify you or your organization.
Personal information is handled under the SASAL Privacy Policy. Where a data-processing addendum applies, it controls for personal-data processing to the extent of any conflict.
6. Fees, renewals, SASAL Points, and taxes
Prices, billing intervals, monthly service capacity, and seats are shown before you begin Stripe Checkout or in the applicable signed agreement. Paid subscriptions renew at the selected interval unless cancelled before the next renewal date. You authorize SASAL’s payment processor, Stripe, to charge the selected payment method for applicable recurring fees and taxes.
Monthly SASAL Points capacity is a limited right to use eligible SASAL services during the applicable paid subscription period. It is not money, currency, an investment, an asset, a deposit, a gift card, or a stored-value account. It may be used only for services supplied within SASAL, may not be used for another company’s goods or services, and may not be transferred, sold, exchanged, redeemed for cash, or refunded except where applicable law requires otherwise. Unused monthly capacity ends at the next subscription renewal or at the end of the applicable paid period and does not roll over.
Capacity above 10,000 SASAL Points per month is available only to verified business organizations through an Enterprise inquiry and review. It is not available through self-service checkout. Activation requires SASAL approval, a signed Enterprise service order, applicable payment-processor approval, and, for a United States offering, completion of SASAL’s required federal and state regulatory review. Unless the signed order states otherwise, Enterprise service is measured during the monthly service period and invoiced in arrears after month end. An inquiry does not guarantee that SASAL will offer or activate Enterprise capacity.
Promotional SASAL Points are issued without payment and expire five months after their grant date. Their expiration date is disclosed when granted. A refund, service-failure remedy, billing adjustment, or cancellation settlement is not a promotional grant and is recorded separately under the terms disclosed for that remedy. SASAL will not retroactively shorten an expiration period already granted. SASAL does not sell gift certificates or independently reloadable SASAL Points.
Material subscription terms and the next renewal date are shown before payment. Billing Owners can manage payment methods and invoices through the Stripe Customer Portal when that option is available, and can manage renewal or schedule cancellation in SASAL Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the applicable agreement states otherwise. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in writing. You are responsible for applicable taxes other than taxes based on SASAL’s net income.
7. Changes to services, subscriptions, and terms
Plan, seat, and usage changes take effect only after the applicable Stripe confirmation or written agreement. Changes to the scope or fees of General Support require an Adobe Acrobat Sign amendment before billing is changed. SASAL may modify the Services or these Terms with reasonable notice when required by law, for security, or to reflect operational changes. A material change will apply prospectively; continued use after its effective date constitutes acceptance. The version and effective date above identify the Terms accepted through the platform.
8. Suspension and termination
SASAL may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the platform, investigate a breach, comply with law, address non-payment, or prevent harm. Either party may terminate as permitted by the applicable subscription, order form, or signed agreement. On termination, access ends at the applicable end date, subject to any legally required retention or a separately agreed export period.
9. Intellectual property
SASAL and its licensors retain all rights in the Services, software, designs, documentation, and trademarks. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, SASAL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services during the applicable term. Feedback you provide may be used by SASAL without restriction or compensation, provided SASAL does not identify you as the source without permission.
10. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other party’s non-public business, technical, and commercial information using reasonable care and will use it only to perform under these Terms. This does not apply to information that is public without breach, independently developed, rightfully received without a duty of confidentiality, or required to be disclosed by law, provided notice is given where legally permitted.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” SASAL does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure in all circumstances, or that any recommendation, AI output, match, or business outcome will be achieved. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SASAL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. SASAL’s aggregate liability arising from the Services is limited to the fees paid by the affected organization for the applicable Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify SASAL and its affiliates, officers, and employees from third-party claims arising from Customer Content, your or your members’ use of the Services in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Electronic records and notices
You consent to receive notices, records, invoices, and agreements electronically through the platform, email, Stripe, and Adobe Acrobat Sign. Electronic acceptance, signatures, and records are intended to have the same effect as their paper equivalents to the extent permitted by law.
14. Governing documents and contact
These Terms are the platform-wide baseline agreement. Any governing law, venue, dispute-resolution procedure, or notice address stated in a signed service agreement or order form controls for that agreement. For platform questions, billing support, or a notice under these Terms, contact SASAL through the organization’s designated SASAL support channel.
