We may collect IP addresses, device and browser information, access logs, page visits and interactions, and information from cookies or similar technologies. Section 6 explains our website analytics and your choices.

Information from other sources

We may receive public business information and business contact information from third-party sources. If you connect a service such as LinkedIn, we may receive information available through the permissions you grant for that connection.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

Provide and manage accounts, workspaces and other SASAL services.
Authenticate users and protect accounts.
Support business matching, introductions, communications and events.
Process subscriptions and payments, and provide billing support.

Information you choose to publish in a Company profile can be visible publicly. Information in a workspace may be available to authorized organization members or other participants, according to the feature’s permissions and your sharing choices.

We may share information with service providers that help operate SASAL, with participants when needed for an introduction or other service you use, or with your consent. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or others.

If SASAL is involved in a merger, acquisition or other business transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy protections.

4. Where information is processed

SASAL supports businesses across borders. Information may be stored or processed in the United States, Japan or other countries where SASAL or its service providers operate. We use applicable contractual and other safeguards where required by data protection law.

We use providers for hosting, communications, payments, electronic signatures, analytics and AI features. These providers may process the information needed to deliver the relevant service. We use contractual safeguards and oversight for providers that process information on our behalf.

If you use an AI feature, the information needed for your request may be sent to the AI provider supporting that feature. Please submit only information that you are permitted to share for that purpose.

Google Analytics. Its analytics cookies follow your choice in the website’s analytics prompt.

Website usage analytics. We use analytics to understand website visits and service interactions, including visits from emails and signed-in activity. For eligible signed-in accounts, account name and email address are used to associate activity with that account. Session replay is configured to mask page text and form inputs and exclude certain sensitive content.

Website usage analytics is separate from the Google Analytics choice. You can turn off this usage measurement for this browser. You may need to set this choice again after clearing site data or using another browser.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted connections. Private workspaces and documents have access restrictions based on the relevant account and resource permissions.
