Data & Security Policies

Last updated

This policy explains access, permitted use and security of information on SASAL. It complements the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Public and private information

Some information, such as published Company profiles, public articles and designated reports, is available publicly. Account details, private workspaces, messages and restricted documents have separate access controls. Publishing one resource does not make every record associated with an organization public.

2. Ownership and permissions

Viewing information does not transfer its ownership or give an unrestricted right to copy, redistribute or commercially reuse it. Rights in customer content, SASAL materials and third-party content remain subject to the applicable Terms of Service, agreements and permissions.

3. Permitted use

Use information for the business activity and service for which access is provided. Authorized exports, API features and sharing tools can be used within their documented scope and your account’s permissions. This policy does not prohibit an export or integration that SASAL expressly provides or authorizes.

Do not collect private records in bulk, build unauthorized contact databases, resell information, bypass restrictions or use another party’s content for AI training without the necessary permission.

4. Automated access

Use automation only through permitted features or authorized APIs and within applicable limits. Do not scrape member-only data or bypass authentication, rate limits or document permissions. Access to public information does not authorize access to private workspaces.

5. Service processing and AI

SASAL processes information to operate and support the platform, facilitate relevant business interactions, improve the service and maintain security. Providers supporting hosting, communications, payments, analytics or AI may process information needed for the service you use, as described in the Privacy Policy.

When you use an AI feature or share a document, provide only information you are authorized to submit for that purpose. Recommendations and scores support your review; they are not guarantees of suitability or outcomes.

6. Protection of private records

We use authentication, access controls, encrypted connections and other technical and organizational measures to protect information. Access to private records is checked according to the relevant account, organization and resource permissions.

7. Security concerns and incident response

If you suspect unauthorized access or a security issue, use the Contact page. We review reported issues and take appropriate steps to investigate and limit their impact. Notices are provided where required by applicable law.

8. Data-processing arrangements

Where a data-processing agreement applies to a service, it describes the relevant processing responsibilities and safeguards. Contact us if your organization needs information about an applicable arrangement.

9. Misuse and policy updates

Misuse can lead to review, removal of content or access restrictions under the applicable Terms of Service and Platform conduct policy. We may update this policy as the service or relevant requirements change. Questions can be sent through the Contact page.
