Biospire aims to become a leading UK–Japan Deeptech implementation partner, connecting technologies, companies, researchers, investors and innovation ecosystems across both markets.
Over the next three to five years, we will strengthen our presence in the UK and Japan while expanding our network across Life Sciences, Space, Quantum, Advanced Materials and Energy. Rather than pursuing scale through a large permanent organisation, we will continue to build a flexible network of highly experienced scientists, entrepreneurs and industry specialists who can be assembled according to each project.
Our priority is to develop more long-term, implementation-focused partnerships with corporations, universities, research organisations, investors and public-sector innovation programmes. We will expand from individual technology scouting and market-entry projects towards continuous cross-border business development, technology commercialisation and strategic partnership support.
Our presence at Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire, will remain an important platform for connecting Japanese organisations with the UK Deeptech ecosystem, while our Japan operations will provide UK innovators with practical access to Japanese industry and investment networks.
