SERVICE FEE
The SASAL Consortium operates on a semi-annual payment schedule. Members are required to make one payment before joining, and then one payment every six months thereafter. Previously, payments were made monthly, but we have shifted to a six-month cycle to foster long-term relationships and make our daily discussions more meaningful.

Consortium Operational Policy
1. Purpose
The SASAL Consortium aims to foster meaningful collaboration among organizations, companies, and individuals to advance strategic initiatives, drive innovation, and contribute to global development.
2. Eligibility
- Companies that support the consortium’s mission.
- Individual applicants are not eligible for membership.
3. Organizational Structure
- Steering Committee: Responsible for strategic decisions, budgeting, and activity planning
- Working Groups: Conduct thematic activities and research
- Secretariat: Handles daily operations, member support, and public communications
4. Activities

5. Membership Rights and Responsibilities
- Members are expected to actively participate in consortium activities
- Members have access to consortium deliverables (subject to copyright and licensing terms)

6. Membership Fees
- An annual membership fee is required to support the operations of the consortium. The fee structure is as follows: Corporate Membership: USD $499 per month (equivalent to USD $5,988 per year)
- The membership fee includes access to consortium events, resources, and collaborative opportunities. Corporate members may also host events and appear in SASAL media.
Details of the fee structure are reviewed annually by the Steering Committee and communicated to all members. - Membership is valid on a monthly basis and shall automatically renew each month unless terminated in accordance with the procedures outlined in this Agreement. Members may cancel their membership by submitting a cancellation request as described in Section 8. The cancellation will take effect based on the submission date, and no further invoices will be issued after the final billing cycle.
- Failure to pay membership fees within 30 days of the due date may result in suspension of membership privileges. Continued non-payment beyond 60 days may lead to termination of membership, subject to Steering Committee approval.
7. Information Handling
- Shared information among members is treated as confidential unless otherwise agreed
- Public release of consortium outcomes requires prior approval by the Steering Committee
8. Withdrawal and Expulsion
- Members may withdraw from the consortium by submitting a cancellation request via the designated form. Upon submission, the invoicing process shall be terminated in accordance with the submission date. For example, if the request is submitted on April 1, an invoice shall be issued on April 30, and no further invoices shall be issued after May 31. If the request is submitted on March 31, an invoice shall be issued on March 31, and no further invoices shall be issued after April 30. Members are responsible for confirming the submission date to ensure accurate processing. Former members may reapply for membership subject to the standard registration process and approval by the Steering Committee.
- Members may be expelled from the consortium for conduct that is inconsistent with the consortium’s mission, including but not limited to unethical behavior, breach of confidentiality, or failure to comply with consortium policies. Expulsion decisions shall be made by the Steering Committee and communicated in writing.

10. Operating Entity
This consortium is operated and managed by SASAL, INC.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Consortium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to participation in Consortium activities, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or reputational harm.
11. Compliance with Antitrust Laws and Ethical Standards
- The SASAL Consortium complies with applicable antitrust laws and ethical standards. It promotes fair competition, transparency, and integrity. Members must avoid anti-competitive behavior, act respectfully, and report any concerns to the Steering Committee. By participating, members agree to uphold these principles.
- Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in performance under this Agreement due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or pandemics.
- This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
